2.7.1 Register Lawyer

Register Lawyer Step-by-Step test guide

A lawyer who passed the KYC can register himself or herself in a region by locking a cretain amount as deposit.

1. Go to Developer → Extrinsics.

2. Signer: Lawyer.

3. Extrinsic: regions

4. Call: registerLawyer(region)

5. regionId: 1 . This is currently the active region.

1. Submit Transaction → Sign and Submit.

✅ Check in Chain State:

Developer → (1) Chain State → (2) regions → realEstateLawyer → (3) Include option off → (4) Click + Query → region + deposit for each lawyer

Register Lawyer

1. Ensure that lawyer hasn't been registered in the chain storage.

To view the storage of registered lawyer, follow the steps below.

• Go to the Developer tab in menu bar.

• Select Chain State from Developer menu list.

• Select a pallet regions from the dropdown menu.

• Select the realEstateLawyer function using the dropdown input field.

• Make sure to DAVE has lawyer role.

• Click the ⊕ plus button on the right side.

• You will see none, which means lawyer not registered in region.

1. Open the Developer tab, then click Extrinsics.

1. Select the regions pallet from the dropdown input field.

1. Select the 'register lawyer' extrinsic function.

1. Set region id as 1 as show below.

2. Make sure Dave has role lawyer.

1. Click Submit Transaction.

1. On success, it emits the LawyerRegistered event.

1. To view the storage of lawyer registered, follow the steps below.

• Go to the Developer tab in menu bar.

• Select Chain State from Developer menu list.

• Select a pallet regions from the dropdown menu.

• Select the realEstateLawyer function using the dropdown input field.

• Make sure to DAVE admin.

• Click the ⊕ plus button on the right side.

• You will see Region Lawyer Info.
