Regional Operator
A Regional Operator is the account responsible for managing a specific region within the system.
Definition
A Regional Operator is an account that has regulatory credentials and authority to manage a designated region in the system. This includes tasks like:
Creating new locations in the region
Adjusting listing durations and tax rates for properties in the region
Initiating a resignation if they voluntarily leave the role
The owner of a region
Authority
The Regional Operator has PermissionOrigin(Role::RegionalOperator), meaning:
Certain extrinsics are restricted to this role only
They hold operational control over the region’s administrative functions
They can place bids, manage collateral, and interact with region-specific proposals
Responsibilities
Region Management
Create new locations (
create_new_location)Adjust property listing durations (

Governance Participation
Propose new regions (

Role Enforcement
